COPC Missions Team Purpose Statement
Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church Missions Team is dedicated to assisting the congregation in fulfilling its role in the Great Commission and thereby bring Glory to God. To that end there are seven primary pillars of support the committee seeks to provide to individuals and the congregation:
- Facilitate growth and understanding of Missions through education and information
- Provide opportunities to be meaningfully exposed to and actively involved in missions
- Encourage and lead in serving as senders of missionaries
- Faithfully stewarding resources dedicated to missions
- Helping to raise up short, mid, and long-term vocational missionaries
- Lead the congregation in becoming a Missions Minded local church with a passion for reaching the un-reached
- Praying diligently for COPC members, missionaries, and missions ministry
