 Garrett grew up in a Christian home in Bethel, PA. While in
high school, Garrett's interest in missions was sparked through trips to Mexico and Cambodia. He graduated from Grove City College with a degree in philosophy, theology, and Biblical studies. After graduation, Garrett served with Mission to the World on a short-term trip to Ukraine in 2003.
Kristen grew up in a Christian home in Bernville, PA. She grew up with a heart for missions which was fueled by numerous short-term trips with MTW and other organizations. After graduating with an associate's degree in early childhood education, Kristen served as an intern with MTW to Ukraine. Garrett and Kristen were married on August 6, 2006 and serve at Covenant Church where Garrett is the youth director.
The Clemmer's have been called to work in Ukraine with the MTW Kiev church-planting team in the area of youth ministry. They will focus on university students by reaching and discipling young Ukrainians to be future leaders in the Church. It is their hope and prayer to be able to share the love of Christ in Kiev through living their lives in a way that would give glory to Christ and cause others to want to know and follow Him.
