Our church staff is made up of the Elders, Deacons, Trustees, and other staff who serve at Covenant. Church government at Covenant is called elder rule, as this is what we feel is taught in Scripture, but with a complete opportunity for any member of our body to participate in discussion, the giving of advice, and recommendations to the church leadership.
The Elders, along with Pastor Stoltzfus, who also serves as an elder, have as their responsibilities

the spiritual oversight of the congregation

the reception of members
-
the review of all activities of the church and
-
the oversight of all church organizations
In addition, the Elders are responsible for administering the Lord's Supper, for keeping all necessary church records, and for electing an Elder or Elders as Commissioner(s) to Presbytery and to General Assembly.
